Mastering Printer Alignment & Calibration
Misalignment happens naturally over time or after moving a printer. If your lines look jagged or your images look doubled, a calibration test is required to reset the printheads to their factory positions.
Horizontal & Vertical Accuracy
The crosshair grid helps detect "leading edge" issues. If the vertical lines aren't perfectly straight, the printer’s timing belt or carriage might need adjustment or cleaning.
Correcting Double or Blurry Images
Double images are usually a result of the bidirectional printing setting being out of sync. Use the grid patterns to see if the "left-to-right" pass matches the "right-to-left" pass.
Margin & Border Consistency
Is your print cutting off at the bottom? Our alignment page tests the physical limits of your printer’s margins, helping you set correct safe zones in Word, PDF, or Design software.
Post-Maintenance Reliability
Always run an alignment test after replacing an ink cartridge or moving the printer. It ensures the new hardware is perfectly synchronized with the paper feeder mechanism.
